About Me

Hey there! I'm John Damiani, knob turner and button pusher at Funky Fidelity. My journey into the world of sound really began back in 2006. I wanted to preserve my former high school band's musical memories by recording them for an album. Little did I know that this would be the start of an incredible adventure.

My formal education led me to the Academy of Contemporary Music, where I honed my skills in Audio Production from 2009 to 2012. Fast forward to 2017, and I transitioned into professional recording, collaborating with over 40 talented artists along the way. My mission is to create a comfortable sanctuary where musicians can craft their masterpieces, and where we can capture the soul and beauty of music in its purest form.

Positivity is my jam, especially in the studio. I firmly believe that a relaxed environment fuels creativity, and I'm dedicated to fostering that positivity in every recording session. Beyond the mixing board, I'm a lover of photography, a DIY enthusiast in woodworking, and a proud parent of three fabulous feline friends.
